It is wide enough to hold my baby hair around the face. I used to wear it when I go to wash my face or even in a shower (with a shower cap after putting this on).

So fluffy and soft and you look adorable when washing your face! Protects your hair and keeps it held back. I have a normal to large adult head and this fits perfectly snug, no squeezing or pain. Love it!
